Worldwide connectivity Unwavering reliability
MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK
MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK LTD. was established in 1992 and has been dedicated to wireless and satellite communication services. As an authorized service provider for Iridium, Inmarsat, and Itelsat, the company develops and supplies satellite marine mobile terminals and application software. Our services extend to government agencies, cargo ships, fishing vessels, marine research, disaster relief, media, mining, and the oil and gas industries. To date, nearly ten thousand satellite terminal devices are using our services.
Several of our independently developed terminal and peripheral products have been certified by Iridium, Inmarsat, and Itelsat, and have been mass-produced and introduced to the market, earning widespread customer recognition. In response to market demands, we have also developed software applications and platform systems that are now operational in the maritime sector, delivering strong practical results.
Leveraging years of extensive experience in satellite mobile communication solutions, and supported by a team of professional engineers and marketing specialists, we are committed to providing comprehensive satellite mobile solutions along with more advanced products and services.
Our products
Iridium
Iridium satellite communication services are provided by Iridium Communications Inc., delivering global coverage for voice and data communications through its unique low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellation. This system plays a critical role across multiple industries and scenarios.
Global Seamless Coverage
Using a constellation of 66 LEO satellites—deployed across 6 polar orbits at an altitude of approximately 780 km—Iridium ensures 100% global coverage, including the North and South Poles. Services remain uninterrupted even in regions without terrestrial networks, such as oceans, deserts, and polar areas.
High Reliability and Strong Resistance to Interference
Featuring inter-satellite links and crosslinking technology, Iridium’s network operates independently of ground-based infrastructure. This architecture ensures continued operation during extreme weather or ground network failures, making it ideal for emergency rescue and operations in remote locations.
Low-Latency Communications
With satellites in low-earth orbit, signal transmission distance is significantly shortened compared to geostationary systems. This results in lower communication latency, enabling smooth voice calls and reliable data transmission.
Inmarsat
Inmarsat, as a world-leading provider of mobile satellite communication services, delivers global voice, data, and IoT communications through its highly reliable geostationary satellite network. The company focuses on three key sectors: maritime, aviation, and land.
In the maritime sector, its Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) service serves as a vital safety framework for the global shipping industry. It supports emergency distress calls, navigational communications, and fleet management for vessels operating in a wide range of scenarios—from open oceans to coastal waters.
Intelsat
As a globally established and leading satellite communications service provider, Intelsat leverages its extensive geostationary satellite network to deliver high-bandwidth, highly stable voice, data transmission, and IoT solutions for maritime, aviation, energy, government, and enterprise customers—focusing on the core need for “efficient connectivity everywhere.”
In the maritime sector, its VSAT system enables high-speed broadband access for ocean-going vessels and offshore operation ships, supporting fleet management, crew communications, remote monitoring, and more. The system offers adjustable bandwidth, strong anti-interference performance, and responsive global service support. Intelsat also provides end-to-end solutions tailored to specific operational needs across energy, shipping, and aviation industries, helping users worldwide overcome geographical and network barriers to build a “seamlessly covered, secure, and reliable” satellite communication network.
